The first Fairbairn Family Reunion is being hosted by the descendants of Ruby Fairbairn Neil Allison in Amherstburg, Ontario, a few miles away from where Robert fairbairn first lived upon arrival in Canada. All of the descendants of Jessie & Bob Fairbairn of Essex, Ontario are welcome to join us.
Christmas Get-Together

Our Christmas get-together is going to be at Patti's again this year on december 21st. I started getting cookie dough ready for baking last week. I'm going to pace myself this year so I don't wear myself out. I've got five different varieties of refrigerator cookie dough ready and I'll be making gingerbread dough tomorrow. I'm going to make puff pastry for palmierres again this year. I'm going to make a couple of Christmas Friendship cakes and some sourdough bread and cheese with some starter I've got going.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone next summer at the reunion. I'm hoping we'll have a good turnout and everybody has a great time. I have to start shopping for the family tartan.It would be nice if I could find one woven in Scotland.
